Bath and Body Works Body Lotion

The lighter version of Bath and Body Works’ body cream is of course their body lotion.  Smelling just as good, how can I not resist splurging once in a while?   As mentioned before in another post, it is a rip off to buy them individually (at $10.50 per 8 oz), but it’s definitely worthwhile thinking about when it’s on sale!

From its website, the body lotion contains Shea Butter, Jojoba oil, and Vitamin E.  Other ingredients include Aloe Vera, Grape Seed Extract and vitamin C.  I’ve been using this lotion on and off for years now, and I can attest that it is definitely moisturizing, non-greasy and fast absorbing.  Note that it is a lotion, so one can always switch to the body cream version when they need something thicker for the winter.

Another reason why I love Bath and Body creams is the sheer variety of scents so that there’s something for everyone.  I’m quite sensitive to perfume in general, but Bath and Body’s are not overbearing.  In fact, I often substitute their lotions and cream for perfume.

One flavour that I buy time and time again, other than apple and white citrus is the mango mandarin.  If you like fruity scents with a zest, this is absolutely perfect.  It reminds me of happy summer days lounging on a beach in the Caribbeans.  Or maybe I just need a vacation. :P
